Terms of Service

1. General provisions

These terms of service set out the rules for using the SprintDate mobile application (hereinafter: the “App”), operated by 8CELLS Jarosław Kaczmarski, Tax ID (NIP): 7962621938, Business Registry No. (REGON): 366811404, based in Poland (hereinafter: the “Operator”).

Using the App constitutes acceptance of these terms of service.

2. Definitions

  • User — a person using the App
  • Organizer — a user who creates and runs events in the App
  • Event — a video-conversation session organized in the App by an Organizer
  • Conversation — a video call between two participants of an event
  • Match — a mutual positive rating after a conversation

3. Conditions of use

  • The User must be at least 18 years old
  • Providing accurate personal data is required
  • Each user may hold only one account
  • Using the App requires access to the camera and microphone

4. Rules for taking part in events

  • Taking part in a paid event requires purchasing a ticket in the App beforehand; free events require signing up in advance
  • The camera must be turned on during video conversations
  • Recording conversations without the other party’s consent is prohibited
  • Courtesy and respect toward other participants are required
  • After each conversation, the User rates the participant (positively or negatively)

5. Prohibited conduct

It is prohibited to:

  • Use vulgar or offensive language
  • Harass, intimidate, or discriminate against other users
  • Share content of a sexual or pornographic nature
  • Impersonate other people
  • Use the App for commercial or advertising purposes
  • Attempt to circumvent the App’s technical safeguards

Violating the above rules may result in immediate suspension of the account without a refund of fees paid.

6. Payments and refunds

  • Events are created by Organizers as free or paid. By buying a ticket, the User pays the event Organizer — the funds go directly to the Organizer’s account, and the Operator collects only an intermediary service commission from the transaction
  • Payments are handled by Stripe (the split of the payment between the Organizer and the Operator is carried out by Stripe Connect); ticket prices are stated in Polish złoty (PLN)
  • If an event is cancelled by the Organizer or the Operator, the User receives an automatic refund of the full ticket price
  • The User may withdraw from an event in the App; withdrawing at least 24 hours before the event starts entitles the User to a refund of the full ticket price
  • No refund is due in the case of withdrawal later than 24 hours before the event starts, non-attendance at the event, or removal from the event or suspension of the account due to a breach of the terms of service
  • If an event cannot start (e.g., due to too few participants), it is postponed once by 48 hours — the ticket remains valid, and the User may withdraw with a full refund at least 24 hours before the new date. If the event again cannot take place, it is cancelled and the funds are refunded automatically

7. Liability

The Operator makes every effort to keep the App running continuously and free of errors, but does not guarantee 24/7 availability of the service. The Operator is not liable for content exchanged between users during video conversations.

8. Account deletion

The User may delete their account at any time in the App’s settings or by contacting us at hi@sprintdate.app. After the account is deleted, all personal data will be erased within 30 days.

9. Changes to the terms

The Operator reserves the right to amend these terms of service. Users will be informed of material changes via the App or by email at least 14 days in advance.
